– “GOD EXPOSES SIN NOT TO SHAME US BUT TO CHANGE US.” –

Today I saw this, I paused and looked at it, and read the words. However, I didn’t fully grasp the meaning of them at that moment. I did some things around the house and as I was, I couldn’t help but to continue to have those words in my head…then it hit me all at once.

At times in life we feel discouraged, however, it is a beautiful thing to be changed and the amazing part about it all is that the CHANGE comes from God. Willingness to allow that to happen. Surrendering all that we are, dying to self, picking up our cross and following Him.

We will never be perfect and we will fall. Don’t condemn yourself, work on the areas where you still struggle and allow God to expose that to you in a deep way only you will understand.

When you already know what those areas are, ask God for that CHANGE that you need in your personal life. In the book of Matthew 7:7 the author writes, “Ask and it will vie given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” We have to have the reassurance that God is listening and we just need to ask Him. There is nothing that surprises God, He already knows it all. All we have to do is come to Him and ask Him to help us through those specific issues.

If you need STRENGTH, PATIENCE, GUDENCE, WISDOM, KINDNESS, RELATIONSHIPS etc… whatever it is He will give it to you. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Many of us do not reach out for help because fear creeps in, but God never exposes us to shame us but to change us. Many of us misunderstand that and we become captive of fear. In second Timothy 1:7, the Word says “For God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Rest in that powerful truth He gives us.

Praying today is a day where you can allow the transformation from the inside out to happen.

Praying for you beloved friend.
